My listening over the past week-and-half has obviously tended towards many of my favorite songs and performers (who do have a tendency to appear on these lists regularly): Sarah McLachlan, Jonatha Brooke, Paul Simon, R.E.M., The Clash, Celia Cruz, Barry White, Jorma Kaukonen, Sean Paul, Bonnie Raitt.

My formative years (the 1970s) are well represented among some of the new names on this list: Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Boston, Styx, Parliament, Dave Mason, and The Cars.

Other new names include Dar Williams, Loreena McKennitt, and Patato. I have some favorite artists and genres, but my tastes do remain eclectic.
